HAQ - General Account Enquiry


What is

This procedure is used for viewing the transactions for any account/currency combination and any accounting period range.
Additional filtering, different viewing styles and the feature to design your own screen presentation makes HAQ a powerful audit tool. Accounts that have been fully archived/deleted can also be viewed by typing their account reference in full.

When viewing transactions, if the user is correctly CMP privileged (HAQ/INTEREST), they can perform Interest calculations on selected transactions. This process allows for use of centrally maintained Interest rates (IBR), opening balance entry and any date range. Simple or Compound calculations can be performed and accounting documents and DOCDES forms can also be produced. This is simple process for creating a Debit/Credit note for interest payments based on accounting transactions, using any ITAS account type i.e. WIP, NOM or CLI.

The CLI, NAQ, WIP procedures allow for viewing of the current details in the accounts whereas HAQ can view any of the history of the account. HAQ is used as the drill down feature from other procedures e.g. SRC
