What is PTABLES

PTABLES is used for entering Premiums and Discounts against named tables which may be uploaded against contracts to be used in Purchase Invoicing.

Market Premiums and Discounts may be maintained for Valuation purposes (US). These should be flagged as Spot Prices. They may be imported on a Daily basis. The daily spot tables can be copied to a Month End to be used in Month End reporting.

Base Price set against a Market Growth for use in inventory Market Value calculation.

Standard tables may be flagged as MtM tables which may be attached to a purchase contract and used in contract market value calculation (ctrl35_valuationstyle = 'P').

The tables are as follows:-

Classing (US and ctrl35_valuationstyle = "P") – Allows entry of P/D by Color, Leaf and Staple

Micronaire (All) – Allows entry of P/D for user selected Micronaire Ranges

Micronaire (China) – For China Micronaire P/Ds can be entered by Grade Code/Micronaire Code or, for Import Cotton, as per the standard Micronaire input

Strength (All) – Allows entry of P/D for user selected Strength Ranges

Uniformity (All) – Allows entry of P/D for user selected Uniformity Ranges

Extraneous (US) – Allows entry of P/D against Matter levels with an option to differentiate between standard and Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and New Mexico growths

Warehouse Location (All) – Allows entry of P/D by Market Growth for Warehouse Location as seen against the Warehoused in CLI

Crop Year (All) – Allows entry of P/D by Market Growth for Crop Years on Inventory

Warehouse (US) – Allows entry of P/D by Warehouse Code (CLI)

Grade (Lot Based) – Allows entry of P/D by Grade (from inventory) within Purchase Growth within Market Growth

Growth (China) – Allows entry of P/D by Purchase Growth

Periods (China) – Allows entry of P/D by Country of Port of Origin and Delivery Period counting from Period Valuations are run

China Grade (China) – Used by China Domestic. Allows entry of P/D by Grade Code and Staple

Staple (Lot Based) – Allows entry of P/D by Staple
