TRADESPS

TRADESPS allows the creation and amendment of linked contracts across trading companies. The export company is linked to the origin company by the configuration of ctrl30_spscomp on the export company row.

1) Enter end sale details to generate the sale to the end customer
At the same time the internal purchase on the current company and the internal sale on the origin company will be generated.

When creating the internal contracts there will be an opportunity to enter in pricing details independently

2) Further amendment can be undertaken in TRADESPS for the end sale and TRADE for the internal contracts. Full amendment is permitted on the end sale in TRADESPS. The internal contracts will be updated with the          entered TRADESPS details with the exception of certain pricing details.

3) Updates to the internal contracts in TRADE will only affect the internal contracts. Price and Commodity only may be amended on internal contracts.

4) Traffic information may be entered on any of the contracts

5) Splitting, Tranching and quantities are kept in line

6) Price Fixations are kept in line

7) Allocation to Cotton Inventory takes place on the Origin company. When the allocation is completed on the Inventory plan (the allocation date is entered) a back to back allocation for the same quantity is generated        between the internal purchase and the external sale on the Export company.

8) Sale invoicing of the internal sale will create a Purchase invoice for the internal purchase

Example of how operates :

'DU' is export; ctrl30_spscomp = 'RG', i.e.  'RG' is origin Entity (leave ctrl30_spscomp = ' ')

  1. Create an export sale in DU/TRADESPS. This creates an origin sale on RG and an internal purchase on DU both with optionally different pricing and commodity codes.
  2. TRADESPS is only enabled/available on Export company (DU)
  3. The origin Sale number matches the export Sale number. The internal purchase is the next purchase number in sequence.
  4. Splits and weight and most trade details are kept in line. TRADE/Main is carried out from the export side. Splitting/Tranching can be from either side. This is because the administration could be executed from origin or export.
  5. Traffic can be maintained from either Sale and updates all 3 contracts.
