Star Reports

The Reporting Database has been created as an alternative to the traditional ITAS Operational Database. It has been specifically designed to allow access to company data at a database level and to enable faster delivery of that reporting data and unlike the Operational Database, the reporting version will be able to store historical data, including calculated values.

The ability to migrate data from the ITAS Operational Database to the ITAS Reporting Database on a daily basis creates the possibility of using database snapshots to compare and analyse data over time in order to evaluate patterns, gaps and anomalies.

The Star Reports facility enables users to view information from the Reporting Database in a standard Data Grid including (but not limited to):

• Accounting Report
• Cost Report
• Futures Report
• Inventory Report
• Physical Report
• Physical Valuation Report
• Traffic Report
