In this significant release Hivedome are releasing a second series of web services. Re-branded as the ITAS API (and also known as Web Services V2) this set of endpoints lay the foundation for the future of ITAS Application Programming Interface.
ITAS API
The overall purpose of the ITAS API is to provide external access to the ITAS data and business functionality. The API endpoints provide a point of contact and create a layer which external systems can access. The API was built as a re-usable set of ITAS objects for both point-to-point communication between systems (i.e. no human intervention) and new user interfaces (e.g. web pages, mobile apps and so on) built either by Hivedome or by clients.
The list if endpoints will grow with each release, please see below for a list of endpoints in this release. An overview of the ITAS API system is available to download here.
The current Web Services (V1) will continue to be supported until all functionality has been moved to ITAS API.

Trader Desktop
New Features
New ITAS API intro page. Inline the the release of ITAS API (Web Services V2) a new intro page is available via the Trader Desktop
Small Tiles User Preference
Since initial release, user tiles have appeared to be quite large for users will low resolution or smaller screens. Since showing fewer tiles on the homepage (because of the size) reduces the effectiveness of the tiles and so this release introduces a user preference that will enable users to choose smaller tile sizes. Head to Username (top bar) > Preferences > Tile size, to change this option.
Trading Entity Colour Chooser
ITAS Administrators now have the ability to change Trading Entity colours.
Notes:
- If an Admin changes colour while other users are logged on they will see the change take full effect the next time they log on.
- In this case there may be some aspects of the system that are updated.
- The Admin and all current logged in users are messaged to let them know that a change has been made and they need to log off to see the full effect of the update.
Updates to Existing Features
- Various UI snags (AD screen, Message Users, Delete Alert warning, Feedback form, S01 popup, new alert, add filter pop up, my alerts, codes tab, tooltips.
- License Key checks moved to decrease start up time.
- Codes and Reports menus moved to database.
- Disabling Operational Alert now also disables delivery for all users.
- Set minimum size for add shortcut window so the form elements can always be seen.
- Update to license messages.
- Performance enhancements.
- Enable User access from multiple Active Directory domains.
Bug Fixes
- Gen5000 error when User's windows password expires. Error now not shown.
- Use Last Trading Entity preference. This user preference had stopped working and has been re-enabled.
- In Codes and Reports browser the window could fall off the screen when detached.
- Manual Data Export screen scrollbars not showing when there are a large list of Trading Entities.
- Alert Admin screens flicker when updated.
- Unable to expand/collapse triangle icon in Trading Entity navigation.
- Non admins can change Trading Entity colours
