ITAS Release 8.23.0
Overview
This releases continues Data Portal’s journey to becoming a standalone application that can be used independently of Trader Desktop by building on the User Admin features introduced in 8.22.0, improving Alerts functionality for users and administrators and introducing a new Data View Manager that will eventually enable the creation and management of bespoke data views.

New Features
Named User Licensing
To simplify user licensing and to provide a more secure ITAS environment, Hivedome plan to transition from concurrent licensing to Named User Licensing. This will deliver benefits to both users and system administrators.
This enhancement enables organisations to take advantage of the Microsoft Entra integration introduced in ITAS Services 8.22.0 for Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Single-Sign-On (SSO). This one license for all platforms approach will also mean that users can login into multiple ITAS platforms at once, for instance if they wish to compare the data outputs of Trader Desktop and Data Portal simultaneously, they’ll be able to login to both platforms whilst consuming only one license

Enhancements
Company Copy - Table Creation
This enhancement to the Company Copy Workflow feature ensures that tables existing in the source company but absent in the destination company, such as valuation or frozen tables, are automatically created during the Company Copy process.
My Alerts - Phase 2
My Alerts has been moved to the User Preferences menu, alongside other user settings. The UI has been redesigned to make identifying and subscribing to alerts quicker and more intuitive.
Alerts Administration - Phase 2
The Alerts Administration UI has been revamped to streamline the process of identifying and managing alerts, making it faster and more efficient.
User Administration - Phase 2
The User Administration UI now includes a checkbox for licensing and un-licensing users, allowing for the easy granting or removal of access to the Data Portal and ITAS. This feature supports the introduction of Named User Licensing.
User Role Administration - Phase 2
The User Role Administration UI has received a minor redesign to align with the look and feel of other Data Portal screens and views, ensuring consistency.
Data View Administration - Phase 1
The Data View Management UI has been enhanced with a new design and administrator-configurable settings, providing greater control and flexibility.
