WHREP - Warehouse Reports

What is WHREP

There are a series of different report styles that present results and movements from the TRADE/PROSCHED (Factory) processes.  Their main criteria for inclusion in the reports is the TRADE/traffic/warehouse date and the release date data and not the Shipping status, which is the standard criteria for TRAFREP stock reporting.  It is therefore important to use the correct filtering if there is a combined company operation of factory processing and back-to-back trading. The release date can be manually updated but the PROSCHED process that marks the call-offs as delivered will remove the stock items from the WHREP.

Stock Movements

This report allows management to view/track/reconcile production over a period. The dates used differ according to the type of movement e.g. intakes will be the warehouse date with the intake code specifying actual type, the consumed date is the warehouse release date, again with warehouse specific code. The manufactured type will use warehouse date.  There are several different sequence options and a summary/detail presentation style.

Stocks

This report is a snap shot of Stocks at a selected date. Tonnages would need to marked as warehoused prior/equal to the date and which do not have a warehouse/release date prior-equal to selected date.  There are several different sequence options and a summary/detail presentation style. There is also a Logistics style of reporting which is an useful alternative to the TRAFREP reports, if the company is also operating back-to-back trading as well as factory processing

Aged Report

With the maintenance of shelf life days in PHYSCODES/Commodity, this report can list expiry dates for stocks that have a Date of Manufacture (DOM). The reporting selections allow for exclusion of expired tonnages and can also exclude tonnages that will expire a specific number of days forward of the Report date.

Projected Requirements

This is an ERP process that has not been fully developed (3Q07) but can provide some basic listing with BOM explosion of Sales orders etc.

Processing Area

This report uses accounting transactions that have been posted to the S01/stocks/factory nominated Processing WIP account.  The date range pertains to the document date and the transactional listing includes sequencing by commodity code.

Reconciliation

This reports differences between accounting records and TRADE tonnages.  The TRADE filtering is to only locate Inventory that has been marked as warehoused before Report date. The Accounting filters are applied for Inventory recognised accounts and there is a contract number present on the transaction(s)

Stock Adjustments

These procedures are designed for Stock taking/adjustment. The ‘Produce Report for Excel’ is a simple report style providing many columns that may be useful for the Stock taking exercise e.g. Lot Ref, Warrant No, Shed, Product description and Number of packs/bags. By exporting to Excel, the WHREP user determines what columns they wish to print for the Stock controllers to complete.  The ‘Import Excel into ITAS’ prompts the user for the location/name of a suitable Excel file with completed details and the user specifies which fields on the Spread Sheet are to be processed e.g. No Of packs, Shed Id, Lot Ref. Only the Sheet1 will be processed from the import .xls.  The output of the process is a report of failures and successful updates on screen and in OPRINT and the TRADE data is updated. This process is only effective if the time frame between print report and Import is short and the ITAS data has not been changed during that time.

Wastage Report

This report will illustrate how Manufacturing Orders (MO) have performed in relation to their BOM. The detail style will list all in-turn stock items and will correlate those results with the respective out-turn BOM. The BOM identifies product by % and Packaging by units. The out-turn weight is applied with the BOM % and per unit to provide BOM usage column and is compared with actual usage to provide a column of over/under performance.  The report will show the applicable weight code, where a product stock in-turns are expressed with the same weight units, else the weights will be converted/reported as ‘Kilo’.
MO’s that have been reversed are NOT reported.
The filtering enables location of MO’s by selection of Process Date,  product codes, Release Number, out-turn Contract Ref.
There is a summary style that lists the in-turn actual and expected BOM usage and weight variance.

Warehouse/Shed Stock Movements

All movements between sheds (PROSCHED and BCI barcode) are logged (ctrl50_auditmovements=Y) in an audit table (aud04) with details of Trade No, warehouse, shed id, date, product and weight. This report allows the user to filter by any of those parameters, when the IDD for phys80 has been setup. Each movement will be reported according to the filtering
