PROCODES - Production Support Codes

What is

There are several different codes that need setting up (dependent on S01 configuration) :

Warehouse Intake/Release
This code is used to complement the warehouse intake/release date by describing the basis on which the goods arrived or were dispatched from the warehouse. The code is used in the Warehouse Movement Report (WHREP) to analyse the movements out of the warehouse, e.g. delivered, consumed, written off, sample sent. The ‘Act as’ columns provide PROSCHED with the codes to use when performing some of its functions e.g. Deliver to customer, Surplus output from MO.  (cmy47)

MO Status
Code used (PROSCHED) for annotating the current status of a MO e.g. Some Stock missing, ready to proceed.  (cmy49)

MO Process Types
Code to describe a Manufacture function in the factory e.g. repack, mixing
There is a feature in PROSCHED/Create Manufacture Order that will suggest the Out-Turn product when a MO Type is selected that has its’ Commodity code maintained in PROCODES/MO types.
The out turn commodity code must be a BOM type and it must be an active code in order to be used by PROSCHED/MO create.  (cmy79)

PO Process Types
Code to describe a Process function in the factory e.g. clean, roast, pick
There is a feature in PROSCHED/Create Process Order that will suggest the Out-Turn product(s) when a PO Type is selected that has a Commodity code maintained in PROCODES/PO types.  There are a maximum 4 codes that can be specified with their expected yield percentages. The total of the percentages can not exceed 100% but do not need to total 100%   (cmy41)
