MATT - Terminal Clients Transaction Matching
What is MATT
CLI accounts that are setup as T style are operated as balance carried forward and as such do not utilise cash matching to complete their reconciliation. However some operations find it useful to reconcile movements in and out of these accounts and require a procedure for marking the individual transactions as matched.
The result of this type of marking allows for CLIST to list only unmarked transactions. The selections made result in a list of ‘unmatched’ postings being presented in a grid ready for ticking as matched. The sum of the transactions must balance to zero for the marking to be OK.
There is also a facility to un-match specific previous matching.
