      What is CPINVOICE
    CPINVOICE is the Cotton TRADE Invoicing application. It can be used for:-
      
Provisional and Price Finalisations of Goods
    Weight Adjustments
    Margin Invoices on Contracts not Fully Priced where the Market as moved more than the Margin on the Contract
    Security Deposits (China)
    CIQ Invoicing - Invoicing based on CIQ Quality Report
    FIB Quality Claims – Invoicing based on FIB Classing report
    Equity and Equity Price Finalisations - Invoicing of Bales in the Loan Scheme for US Cotton
    Redeeming Invoicing - Equity Bales have been sent to be Redeemed
    Certificated (Invoicing of Cert Bales)
    Invoice Reversals – Reverse existing Invoices ad unmark Contracts and Inventory
      
Pre-Invoicing - Creation of Pre-Invoices to assist with Payment Requests before real invoice is generated
    Cotton Board Report - A report to show the Cotton Board amount collected by Gin
    Movement of Invoiced Bales – Moving Invoiced Bales between Purchases
    Documentation – Generation of Documentation from Existing Invoices
    Documentation Inv. Value – Entry of ‘Cash to Pay’ information
    Reverse Cash to Pay – Reversal of existing Cash to Pay records
      The application will update Contracts and Inventory with the Invoicing details, create documentation if required (Farm Detail and Summary are created by default for US Cotton Cash and Equity Invoicing), allow maintenance of Split Payments (US Cotton) and create accounting records for the Invoices.
      The available functionality will differ for US Cotton, EBS and China Domestic. Different paths of Logic are followed based on whether the Cotton is bale (US) or Lot (EBS and China) based, the Valuation style (US, EBS or China) and the VAT operation (Chinese VAT is handled separately)
