FUNDLIM - Fund Management of Limits

What is FUNDLIM?

Companies that are using ITAS for Funds Management will be using standard trading procedures such as TERM(F&O,CFD), TRS(FX), TRS(L&D) and SHARE.  This program enables the operating company to setup the trading limits as a Corporate control and for the individual Funds (i.e. CLI accounts). Standard ITAS codes such as TCCM (F&O), CDM (TRS) and SHARE (SHARE) are referenced in the limits maintenance so that variance analysis, what-if and standard limit checking can be performed.

Corporate controls:

a)       Total value in specified currency units e.g. $US 100,000,000.
b)       Trade Style i.e. CASH deposits, F&O, SHARE/Equities, FX.
c)       Style CASH will be applied with TRS/Deposits
d)       Style F&O will allow the user to create sectors e.g. SUGAR, CORN, OIL Products. In each of those sectors the user will specify which TCCM codes belong in which sector e.g. sector SUGAR could include NY 11, whites, whites
e)       Style SHARE will use the existing SHARE sectors as previously setup e.g. RETAIL, FINANCE, OIL to maintain the sector limits
f)         Style FX will use existing Currency/CDM codes in combinations e.g. USD-YEN for their sector limits.

The limits will be maintained as amounts but the process will allow entry of % to quickly calculate amounts.

Funds controls:

Each fund is setup as a CLI  type account. This process will enable limits to be maintained for each fund in the same manner as the corporate limits. The sum of the Funds limits do not need to match the corporate total but any checking will be actioned on both sets of limits. The limit checking with usage is another process of FUNDLIM.
