OFFBOARD - Off The Board
What is OFFBOARD
The easiest method for settling trade positions is to wait until the instrument/prompt-month is expired, i.e. off the board, and bulk settle the square positions for all the accounts where the selection i.e. Prompt month, is applicable. This will result in a series of accounting documents, one for each account/instrument/month/trade type, being posted and the open trades removed to the archive.
