LOGMAN - Logistics Position Management

What is
The report presents the balance of Purchase or Sale TRADEs matching the selections by shipment/delivery/call-off period-date with the contracted quantity for the period for the selected Department.
Sale Invoiced items are excluded. Sale Invoiced items are defined as parts of the TRADE that have been invoiced (Sales) or moved to stock (Purchases) or have been sold and invoiced (Purchases).

Layout
The report details are listed by Commodity Code/6 digit TRADE reference with includes totals at commodity level and report level.
Shipment period columns are displayed for late shipments (prior to the current month), the current month (based on ITAS date), the next 3 months and all shipments later than 3 months from the current month.
Displayed quantities are the Contracted Quantity (original quantity on header), Invoiced Quantity (Sale or Purchase), Remaining Quantity (not Sale Invoiced) and Call-Off Quantity (Call-Offs from contract which are not Sale Invoiced).
Price and Costs come from the header contract and are converted into target currency using the locked in contract rate of exchange where entered and appropriate or the spot rate of exchange.
Late Shipment Remaining Quantity is the quantity yet to be sale invoiced which is positioned into the month prior to the current month as determined by the contract shipment months and position period indicator.
Period Remaining Quantity relates to the quantity yet to be sale invoiced which is positioned in the relevant shipment month according to the contract shipment period and position indicator.

Call-Off Filtering
Call-Off filtering can be set to include all call-offs, exclude all call-offs or include only call-offs. A call-off is defined as a part of the Purchase or Sale contract which has a release number.
Sale Invoiced items are never included as remaining quantity.
Total remaining quantity includes open quantity and call-offs regardless of the call-off filtering.
When including all call-offs the report will include open quantity and quantity called-off in its remaining quantity columns for each of the shipment periods.
When excluding call-offs the report will include open quantity only in its remaining quantity columns for each of the shipment periods.
When only including call-offs the report will include only call-offs in its remaining quantity columns for each of the shipment periods.

Repositioning quantity
Contract splits (call-offs, invoiced items) are positioned in the contract quantity columns according to their call-off dates. However, the remaining quantities should be used chronologically. If a call-off is reported as remaining quantity in its shipment column according to call-off date and there is contracted quantity still to be used in a prior shipment period the call-off quantity will be moved to the earlier period(s) in full or part depending on the unused contracted quantity remaining in the earlier periods. Similarly sale invoiced items are deducted from the shipment quantities chronologically.

Drilling Down
Drilling Down functionality is available when hovering over the Contract ID column. The Drill Down will activate the TRADE application in ‘View Only’ mode. The standard TRADE reporting and enquiry features will allow analysis of the details displayed in the Logistics Management report.
