FXREPS - FX Revalue + Ladder



What is FXREPS

TRSQ provides simple enquiries for most Treasury instruments, e.g. FX, Bonds, Loans, Currency options.
FXREPS provides the more complex reports, mainly for FX e.g. Revaluation/marginning, ladders, FX open position summaries These reports enable a FX Margin broker to administrate their positions and are also useful for hedge/trading operations.
These reports are very explicit in their definition and will usually report on deals that have not matured.

 The styles available are:-


1) Contract Notes to be returned, a simple list of FX deals that have not been marked as having their contract advice returned by the counterparty.

2) Cash Summary, a list per deal of the cash movement and other sundry details. The purpose of this report is to monitor the accounting of cash in/out with the deal's life especially where an initial margin/deposit is required. TRS can also be used to view these details using the SRC feature of ITAS.

3) Trades near Expiry, same report content as cash summary and will list the FX deals due for maturity in the user specified time frame, usually 2 working days.

4) Maturity date list, a deal by deal list showing a simple synopsis of traded currencies.

5) Maturity date/account list, a deal by deal list showing a simple synopsis of traded currencies.

6) Traded currency/maturity date list, a simple deal by deal list.

7) P&L Movements, will review all non-matured FX deals with their current Revaluation and show a comparison with a previous day (user selected) Revaluation.  Revaluation will use standard banking extrapolation of rates with 1mth, 2mth, 3mth etc rates being maintained in FXRP or FXRIMPORT.

8) Trading account list (CLI .T only) summary of FX deals. The report is illustrating how an account/currency pair have performed since inception of the ITAS records.  A net amount of matured traded currency is complemented by the list of non-matured deals.

9) TRS (FX) deals that have not been fully assigned to the Physicals hedging operation i.e. TRADE and LICS. The report of deals with their dealt currency amount and the amount not assigned to TRADE/LICS records are listed in summary form.
 
10) TRS (FX) deals and their hedging assignments in detail (TRADE & LICS)
 
11) Ladder FX Position, reports a ladder of traded values for each non-home currency. This will include spot positions that have been matured.  The ladder periods are fixed.
 
12) Ladder FX Position Summary, reports a ladder of traded values for each currency on one page. This will include spot positions that have been matured.  The ladder periods are each maturity date.
