IJL - Interest Journal Entry

What is IJL

IJL is a journal entry program. There are many options for entering journal documents, they are basically the same but differ in generating different document references. IJL is one of these ways, and is used for entering interest payable/receivable transactions and within ITAS this document type has special financing significance.
Posting to ledgers is also possible given the privilege level. The main details needed for describing the transaction (currency, document date, value date, department, etc) are entered here. Upon complete entry, ITAS generates a unique document reference commencing with the letters IJ to identify it as a client journal document.
