What is WIPCODES
All ITAS procedures need support codes.
a) Category codes are maintained in WIPCODES and these are used for grouping DEPT, codes. The category codes are used as their name implies i.e. group by whatever criteria you want e.g. DEPT represents a business sector that needs to grouped into world regions or corporate sectors.
b) Actions at Load and Discharge ports. User defined (free) format code for defining the actions at a port such as ARRIVED, LOADING, HOSES CONNECTED.
Used in CHARTERS/Charter Party/Ports grids to define the events that have occurred at the various ports, very useful for Post Fixtures.
