IDD - Data Directory

What is IDD

IDD is a database maintenance program.
It is used to amend some features of the ITAS database tables.
It should ONLY be used by experienced users whom are acquainted with the general ITAS database structure.

There are three types of change that can be made in IDD:

1) Changes in a data table that provides the user friendly interface for many of the ITAS program, this is the feature that allows the user to specify the name, how the table item should be displayed and any general validation rule e.g. date. There are many specialist columns for providing ancillary table links, filters and tick boxes for where selected application usage.
2) Enter/amend audit table objects (IDD02 table). These objects are the friendly names for tables that the user will view in AUDIT procedure. Several tables can be maintained for one AUDIT view but logically they will need to consistent in their data content.
3) Enter/amend Report Writer objects (IDD02 table) The IDD02 table is also maintained for some other explicit application use e.g. DOCENT/DAA filter where table link dhl21/dhlxx is needed. The special HXENQ table links are also maintained. The main content of the data is how to link the tables explicitly e.g. left join <<>>_dhlxx ON dhl21_docref = dhlxx_docref

4) Ancillary table links, used for Foreign key filtering/inclusion in views. E.g. Wish to filter on COUNTRY of the Of Destination; the principal field is phys01_portdest which links to cmy16_port which needs to locate it’s cmy16_ctry.  See ?help on existing entries to fully comprehend.
5) Export FK tables, very explicit for build of SQL for building lists of FK/link table data.
6) Reports, several styles that enable review of IDD data in completotte:
NOTE:  A company IDD may be created by S01 and the 1) as above can be maintained but no other features are enabled
