With the introduction of the Ask ITAS chatbot, new accounting reports and enhancements to user dashboards and document previews, this release continues to build on our commitment to delivering a user-friendly, insightful, and efficient Data Portal experience.
Ask ITAS Chatbot - Phase 1
The new chatbot feature will be built directly into the Data Portal application and is designed to help users quickly find answers, complete routine tasks, and get support without needing to raise support tickets or search through the online help.
Key Capabilities:
Contextual Help & Guidance
Users can type natural language questions (e.g., “How do I subscribe to an Alert?” or “Show me how to add remove a column from a data view”), and the chatbot will provide step-by-step guidance or direct them to the correct feature.
Learning & Tips
The chatbot will proactively share quick tips, new feature highlights, and best-practice suggestions tailored to the user’s role.
Later phases of the ITAS Chabot will build on this functionality to eventually include the following capabilities:
Data Navigation & Shortcuts
Instead of navigating multiple menus, users can ask the chatbot to take them directly to a specific report, dashboard, or app within the Portal. Example: “Open the CRA app” or “Take me to the Stock Levels Data View.”
Smart Search Across Data Views
Users can search for data points using plain language, e.g. “Find all trades expiring this week” or “Show open contracts for customer X.” The chatbot will apply filters and return the requested results.
Accounting Reports
Finance teams can now access key accounting reports directly in Hivedome’s Data Portal:
