User Admin

User Administration governs the user access to specific facilities within ITAS. The administrator can create new users and add, update or remove user access to:

  • Trading Entities
  • Certificates
  • Web Portal
  • Permissions
  • Code Write Access

Adding Trading Entities to a User

Open the 'Assign Trading Entities' modal from the User Maintenance screen by:

  • Highlighting a user in the grid and selecting 'Assign Trading Entities' from the ribbon
  • Selecting the Trading Entity icon on a grid row

The modal lists all the Trading Entities available on the account and Read Only and Write access can be assigned to the user by checking the corresponding boxes. Privileges can also be assigned to each entity.

A confirmation message is displayed when the assignments are successfully saved.

Note: the user's Trader Desktop needs to be restarted for these changes to take effect.

Adding Certificate to Users

Administrators can assign certificates to existing system users that provide access to ITAS features and data.

To add a certificate; open the 'Manage Certificates' modal from the User Maintenance screen by:

  • Highlighting a user in the grid and selecting 'Assign Certificates' from the ribbon
  • Selecting the Certificate icon on a grid row. If the icon is highlighted then certificates have previously been assigned.

The 'Manage Certificates' modal list any certificates assigned to the user. 

  • Click 'Add Certificate'
  • Select a certificate from your PC
  • Select a Trading Entity
  • Enter the Certificate Password and click Save
  • If the credentials are confirmed then the certificate is assigned and the features will be available when the user accesses their Trader Desktop.

Assigning User access to the Web Portal*

An administrator can assign access to the Web Portal pages to any ITAS users.

To add a certificate; open the 'Web Portal Access' modal from the User Maintenance screen by:

  • Highlighting a user in the grid and selecting 'Assign Data Access' from the ribbon
  • Selecting the Web Portal icon on a grid row. If the icon is highlighted then access to some of the portal options have previously been assigned.

The 'Web Portal Access' modal lists all of the menu's and sub-menu options that will be available to the user when they access the Web Portal. To add access:

  • Select the pages by clicking the check boxes
  • Save the changes
  • The options will be available when the user logs into the Web Portal

* Web Portal is a subscription service

Code Write Access

This screen is used to provide Edit rights to users of the Codes screens. To add access to a user:

  • Select the row with the code you want
  • Click 'Add' and select the user(s) and click OK
  • Users are assigned to the code
  • The users can be viewed and removed by clicking the number (which shows the number of users assigned)

To add a group of users from one code group to another:

  • Click 'Copy Users' and select a Code Group(s) 
  • Click 'Save' to assign them to the chosen group
