What is SHARE
This program allows you to maintain, for any trading account, the details of any share purchase. The setup of new SHARE codes is dynamic, i.e. enter a new code in this procedure for it to be activated. The procedure allows for full/part sales execution with dividend dates and commissions also maintained.
You can operate your own company share portfolio by specifying a house account as the trading account, where there would be no commission earned.
SHARE is not a complete stocks/shares administration system but it does allow for simple back-office trade administration.
Current Market prices can be manually entered or collected automatically from the TCCM/TPRICE subsystem.
SHARE is a part of the company freeze month-end tables process, which allows the financial accounting to be completed on the frozen database whilst day-to-day tasks continue on the active database.
With the use of DOCDES, contract notes can be produced to your own specification.
