User Preferences

The options in the User Preferences enable users to define the ITAS 8 and ITAS Heritage Settings for their personal Trader Desktop.

The User Preferences are accessed by clicking the Username in the Top Menu Bar and selecting Preferences which then opens a window in the MDI area. 

Any changes to the settings are initiated by clicking 'Save Changes'.

ITAS 8 Settings

The following options are available:

  • Set the email address that your Alerts are delivered to. By default, the email address contained on your CMP user account will be used but a new address can be entered into the 'Send Alerts to' field.
  • Set the size of the tiles on the homepage
  • Reset the configuration of the homepage. If you have moved the tiles around to create a personalised view then click 'Rest Tiles' to return them to the default layout. 
  • Set the default Trading Entity used in all ITAS operations such as grids and settings. You can also set the system to use the trading entity last used in the previous session.
  • Set the number of items displayed in the Alerts tab or the History/My Postings tabs in the Smart Panel
  • Set whether warning messages are shown if menu items are open when the Trader Desktop is closed
  • Select which messages are shown on startup

ITAS Heritage Settings

The following options are available:

  • Choose a language other than the default of English that the user will view specific components of ITAS information. This does not affect data or regional/local settings. Alternative languages will need to be added by Hivedome to ITAS upon request but once installed are maintain by the customer. To see which languages are available click on the Language drop down list and select an alternative to change the setting.
  • Choose a format that dates are displayed in ITAS fields and reports.

3rd Party Features

The 3rd Party Features enables the user to indicate that a document and/or spreadsheet editing software is installed on their machine and ticking these boxes indicates that they wish to use them in conjunction  with ITAS.

They also enable the user to create PDF documents via the Advanced Print facility. In order to use this function enter the the name of the PostScript printer to be used when building PDF documents.
