ITAS Release 8.21.0
Overview

As with the previous version, ITAS Services 8.21.0 delivers a smaller number of new features but a vast number of under the hood upgrades and improvements, primarily the introduction of support for Microsoft .NET 8.
New Features
AppCheck Security Testing
In a drive to ensure that Data Portal and all ITAS Webservices are secure and don't leave client data vulnerable to attack from malicious third parties, Hivedome have entered into a partnership with an enterprise security testing solutions provider.
AppCheck provide Hivedome with the ability to undertake regular, in-depth penetration testing of Data Portal and ITAS APIs which provide us with detailed reports of security flaws and vulnerabilities This will now enable Hivedome to efficiently and accurately plug those found security gaps and issue timely upgrades or patches to clients.

e2open Adapter
The purpose of this new adapter is to support two types of workflow:
- Container Bookings
- Shipment Instructions

Enhancements
.Net 8 Integration
The 8.20.1 release will see much of the ITAS Services framework migrated to Microsoft .NET8. This upgrade will provide a range of benefits including, but not limited to; improved application speed and performance, increased compatibility with multiple operating systems and integrations, Microsoft support that is not available to older versions whilst also providing a foundation for the design and development of sophisticated applications and processes in the future that meet the ever changing requirements of our clients.
Data Portal Responsiveness
Data Portal will include improvements to the user experience by optimising application responsiveness. These optimisations will provide a clearer navigation for users accessing Data Portal via mobile phone or tablet to provide a consistent journey through the application regardless of the browser or device being used.
WorkFlow
This release will see an extension to the library of activities that can be configured in WorkFlow thus allowing the automation of many more ITAS processes including integrations with third party services for data exchange, data comparisons and customer Alert generation.
Workflow logging has also been improved for better history and issue tracking.
