Contract Management

Building on the Physical Trade Edit functionality introduced in 8.24.0, the Contract Management capabilities will expand significantly, introducing a range of core features to enhance functionality, including the following:

• Contract Allocation - Enable seamless allocation of purchase and sales contracts.
• Contract Splitting - Enable the division of a single contract into multiple, smaller contracts for better handling and tracking, ideal for partial deliveries, multiple delivery dates or destinations.
• Contract Merging - Combine multiple contracts into a single consolidated contract to simplify management.
• Contract Tranching - Break contracts into manageable tranches based on volume, timeline, or milestones for precise control over the execution of contracts, enabling phased deliveries or payments.
• Traffic Management - Integrated traffic-related activities for streamlined logistics data management including inventory monitoring for stock tied to specific contracts, ensuring fulfilment. Container movements, linking them directly to associated contracts and shipping details for the maintenance of shipping schedules, routes, and costs within the context of contract execution.
• Contract Status Management - Quickly identify the status of contracts for improved governance and oversight to establish approval workflows through defined rules and parameters.

These new features will transform the way contracts are managed in Data Portal by providing real-time visibility on the status and performance of contracts, manage details to suit business requirements as well as introducing automations that will streamline complex contract workflows, reducing manual effort. By integrating these capabilities, the platform will empower users with the tools needed to efficiently manage contracts from start to finish, ensuring operational excellence and business success.

Client Account Management

Building on the Client Capture and Edit functionalities introduced in version 8.24.0, the Client Management capabilities are set to expand significantly. These enhancements will introduce a series of core features designed to provide deeper insights into counterparty relationships. Key additions include:

• Client Contacts Management - Maintain client contact details, including multiple points of contact for each client with detailed information such as roles and communication preferences to ensure invoices and other documentation are directed to the correct recipients.
• Access to Contracts, Transactions & Balances - Access all current and historical contracts, track all transactions and up-to-date client account balances, providing accurate and timely insights into trading activity and a full picture of the financial exposure associated with a counterparty.
