ITAS Services Release 8.27.0

Overview

This release builds on the core capabilities of the Data Portal, introducing two major new features alongside a broad range of enhancements across existing modules.

The first new feature, Client Account Dashboards, provides users with a clear, at-a-glance view of each client’s current contractual and financial status. These dashboards consolidate key information to support better relationship management and quicker decision-making.

The second addition, Unindexed Documents, gives users greater control over document intake by enabling the identification and indexing of unprocessed documents within the system, streamlining workflow and improving data accuracy.

In addition to these new capabilities, the release delivers numerous enhancements across key functional areas including Contract Management, Invoicing, Treasury, and Reporting, further improving usability, efficiency, and system performance.

New Features

Client Account Dashboard

This new feature provides a centralised and real-time view of a client’s financial and contractual activities, including a number of graphs, charts and visualisations to enhance transparency, streamline operations, and support better decision-making.

Unindexed Documents

The facility allows users to view all documents within the ITAS Document Management system that have not yet been indexed. These documents are displayed in a configurable data grid, which can be tailored to suit individual user preferences. Users can easily assign the necessary entities to each document, enabling them to be indexed and fully integrated into the system.

Enhancements

Contract Management

Contract Management sees the addition of the following key features:

Mark To Market - Enables marking contracts to market for accurate financial visibility and price risk management.
On Call Contracts With Fixations - Enables the management of trade contracts link to the futures market.

Together, these enhancements improve operational efficiency, enhance financial transparency, and strengthen risk management across the Data Portal.

Invoicing

Core Invoicing gains a range of new features, expanding its flexibility and control. The following capabilities have been added:

Commission Note – Supports the generation of commission-related documentation directly within invoicing workflow

Cost Reversals – Enables users to reverse previously posted costs with appropriate audit tracking.

Direct Costs – Allows for the allocation and invoicing of direct costs against trades or contracts.

Prepayment Refund – Facilitates the creation of refund transactions for overpaid or unused prepayments.

Quality Adjustment – Introduces the ability to apply invoicing adjustments based on quality deviations.

Weight Adjustment – Supports invoicing changes based on final weight variations versus expected or provisional figures.

These additions help streamline complex commercial scenarios and improve accuracy in financial reporting.

Treasury

Treasury sees the addition of the following key features:

FX Deal Coverage for Costs, Commissions & Physicals – Enables users to apply foreign exchange deals directly to associated costs, commissions, and physical trades, improving currency exposure management.
FX Deal Amendments – Allows users to amend existing FX deals, providing greater flexibility and control over treasury operations.

These features enhance accuracy in FX allocations and support more agile treasury management.

Inventory (PROMAN) OData Extract

We have enhanced our data integration capabilities by adding an Inventory (PROMAN) extract to our library of available OData extracts. This new extract provides access to the FACT06 tables within ITAS database, for the retrieval of detailed inventory data enabling seamless integration with external applications and business intelligence tools.

Reporting Framework

The Company Reports functionality has been improved with several usability and performance updates:

Saved Parameter Selections – Allows users to save commonly used report parameters for quicker access.
Pop-Out Viewer – Enables reports to be viewed in a separate window for easier multitasking.
Clearer Drilldown Indicators – Enhances visibility of drillable fields for smoother navigation.
Export to Excel – Adds the ability to export report data directly to Excel for further analysis.
Reduced Font Size – Improves data density and readability across large reports.

These enhancements streamline the reporting experience and support more efficient analysis.

Allocation

The Allocation UI introduced in 8.26.0 has been updated to display the Purchase Contracts grid above the Sales Contracts, rather than side by side. This new layout provides wider grids for easier viewing of key contract data and is designed to make the allocation process faster and more intuitive.
