Settings

Many ITAS configuration options are controlled using modules within the settings menu, Administrators will be able to view the following modules:
To access the Settings menu click  in the Top Menu Bar.

 

GF - General Functions

In the previous version of ITAS GF appeared in the ITAS Menu Options list and functioned very much like a Trading Entity. It gave access to some critical administration functions to all users but in this new version of ITAS GF has been relocated in the new Settings Menu. Although it can still be accessed by all users some functions, namely CMP - User Privileges, AUTH - Licensing and MTM - Menu Text Maintenance have been removed and can now only be accessed by ITAS Administrators.

Registry Refresh

This process usually only needs to be run after ITAS 8 has been updated with a service pack as it will un-register all old dll files and re-install the latest versions of all.

S01 Company Setup (Read Only)

S01 is used ONLY by Hivedome to maintain the configuration of ITAS trading entities, and even then due to the complexity of the set up and the way that many of the settings interact with one another only experienced ITAS users should attempt to make any changes within S01. However, users are able to view a read only version S01. 

Trading Entity Management

Trading Entity Management gives users quick access to key company configuration information that is usually found in S01, such as currency settings and financial year and period info.

Alerts Admin

Alerts Admin enables ITAS administrators to create alerts that notify users when specific parameters have changed within the database. For example, users can be alerted when the Port Of Destination is changed on an existing contract by another user. 

Reports Admin

Previously the export schedule, which extracts data from the Heritage tables and sends it to the Reporting Database, had to be set up as a background job. Now highlighted in the screens below, administrators have visibility and flexibility of data exports via the Trader Desktop screens.

System Settings

System Settings enables ITAS administrators access current ITAS activity information, such as which users are logged in, which modules they have open and release history.

User Admin

User Admin enables ITAS administrators to define the access assigned to users for specific facilities within ITAS such as the User Portal, Certificates, Permissions and Code Write Access.

CMP - User Profile Maintenance

User accounts are set up and managed using CMP. Access to specific trading entities and menu items can be granted or restricted.

AUTH - ITAS User Authorisation

Once a user account has been created the user must be assigned a license using AUTH to enable them to access ITAS 8.

MTM - Menu Text Maintenance

MTM is used to amend the contents of the ITAS Navigation Panel. It is used by Hivedome to add or remove menu options and by users for customising the names of the menu options.

Admin Console

The ADMINCONSOLE ITAS Administrator console is a dashboard designed for IT support members to monitor critical ITAS system services and processes.
